10 - 12 NOVEMBER, 2014: PORT ELIZABETH, SOUTH AFRICA

Mr. Abou Bamba of the UNEP Abidjan Convention Secretariat (Abidjan Convention) opened the meeting by welcoming all of the participants. Mr. Bamba acknowledged a slight gender imbalance of the Panel of Experts (PoE) and noted that it would be taken into account with the composition of the next meeting. Mr. Bamba further acknowledged the importance of including representatives of the Regional Economic Communities (RECs). Dakar, du 16 au 20 Novembre 2015

Dans le cadre de sa mission de sensibilisation et de formation des acteurs, notamment ceux de la justice sur l’environnement, le Ministère de l’Environnement et du Développement Durable (MEDD) en collaboration avec  le Programme des Nations Unies pour l’Environnement (PNUE), à travers le Secrétariat de la Convention d’Abidjan, et l’US AFRICOM a organisé, du 16 au 20 novembre 2015 au Centre de Formation Judiciaire de Dakar, un atelier de formation des magistrats sur le droit de l’environnement. En sus des magistrats nationaux venus de différentes régions du Sénégal, ont pris part à la formation des magistrats représentants des pays de la sous-région(le Cameroun, la Côte d’Ivoire, la Guinée, le Gabon, le Ghana et la Gambie). Read More
