West Africa Regional Strategy Validation Meeting on Sargassum Seaweed and Marine Coastal Invasive Species

The Government of Liberia, through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA-Liberia), in collaboration with UNEP/Abidjan Convention Secretariat, and the USAID West Africa Biodiversity and Climate Change (WA BiCC) Program, convened a two-day meeting on 9th and 10th August 2016 at Bella Casa Hotel in Monrovia, Liberia for the validation of the West Africa Regional Strategy on Sargassum Seaweed and Marine/Coastal Invasive Species. The objectives of the meeting were to develop and validate existing outline regional strategy for submission at COP 12 of the Abidjan Convention in March 2017.[See More]
